Food and Environment Safety Journal

The purpose of Food and Environment Safety journal is to provide a mean of rapid publication for significant contributions in the field of food engineering, food and environment safety, biotechnologies, chemical engineering, biosensors, agriculture and applied sciences as well. Moreover, the journal assures promotion of research results in the field of food production and, from the nutritional and toxicological point of view, it underlines the importance of applying the best analysis and control methods for consumer protection, food technologies, industrial biotechnologies and environment protection as well as to increase life quality.

Article types published:

Regular Articles: should describe new scientific findings and interpret the work clearly, experimental procedures should be given in sufficient details. The length of a full paper should be minimum 8 pages (preferable even number of pages).  Short Communications: suitable for recording the results of complete small investigations or for giving details of innovative methods, techniques or apparatus. Reviews: suitable for covering topics of current interest. Reviews should be concise, but are not size limited. Review manuscripts are also peer-reviewed.

Fees and Charges: Authors are not required to pay article processing nor submission fees. Publishing in Food and Environment Safety journal is free. The journal is available free of charge as an online Open Access journal. The Journal welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence. Papers can be published 2-3 months after acceptance. 

The scientific journal Food and Environment Safety is a quarterly publication (4 issues per year) of the Food Engineering Faculty, Ştefan cel Mare University - Suceava, Romania, that is indexed in International Databases: IndexCopernicus Journals Master List, Ulrich's, Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS),  Ebsco host and JournalSeek Database and also assessed and acknowledged B+ by the main Romanian funding organization for university and postgraduate research programmes - National University Research Council (CNCSIS).
